What is web accessibility?

Accessibility of the Website of the Online Store "UAHcoin" allows users with disabilities to browse it with the same or similar level of ease and pleasure as other visitors. We try to achieve this both through the capabilities of the system on which the Website operates and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility settings on this site

We have adapted our Online Store Site to comply with WCAG 2.0 requirements and made it accessible to level A. The content is fully adapted to work with assistive technologies such as screen readers, magnifiers, speech recognition programs, switches and alternative input methods. By using these technologies, we strive to create an inclusive web environment where every user, regardless of their abilities, can access our information and services. As part of these efforts:

  • We use the Accessibility Wizard to find and fix potential issues for users with disabilities.

  • The site was created and intended for users in Ukraine, so all content on it is exclusively in Ukrainian. In the future, it is planned to install several more language versions.

  • The information posted on the Site is structured for easy navigation and perception by the user.

  • The page layout must include the location of all main content blocks (header, menu, main text, images, footer).

  • The hierarchy of pages occurs through a logical transition from general to specific, and the connection between them is provided by hyperlinks.

  • The working menu allows users to quickly navigate to the necessary sections of the Site.

  • Color combinations match the chosen color contrast, fonts, and other design elements.

  • The pages are filled with relevant text content, images, videos, and other multimedia elements.

  • The site is fully optimized for search engines and user search.

  • Adds alternative text to images.

  • Reduced traffic usage on the Site.

  • Access to all video, audio and other files is provided.
