The commemorative 2-hryvnia coin "Ivan Nechuy-Levytsky" was issued by the National Bank of Ukraine in 2018. It is dedicated to the outstanding Ukrainian writer, translator and teacher - Ivan Semenovich Levytsky (literary pseudonyms: I. Nechuy-Levytsky, I. Nechuy), who is considered a propagandist of the Ukrainian national idea and national literature. He entered the history of literature as an outstanding master of literary prose, who created highly artistic social and everyday stories and tales, such as: "Mykola Dzherya", "Kaydashev's Family", "Old World Fathers and Mothers", "Athos Rogue", "Among Enemies", "Clouds", "Over the Black Sea" and many others.
