2 hryvnias "Light of Goodness and Love (Olena Pchilka)" were put into circulation by the National Bank of Ukraine on June 28, 2024, dedicated to the outstanding writer and public figure. The coin is made of nickel silver, has a circulation of 30,000 pieces and is decorated with elements of the Hadyatsky ornament, symbolizing the six children of Olena Pchilka, whom she raised in the spirit of Ukrainian traditions.
An interesting fact is that Olena Pchilka was the first researcher of Ukrainian embroidery and in 1876 published the fundamental work "Ukrainian Folk Ornament". The inscription "Queen Mother" is engraved on the reverse - this is how her daughter, the outstanding writer and poet Lesya Ukrainka, affectionately called Olga Petrovna.
