The 1979 Bhutanese annual circulation coin is the last year of the 10 chertums in bronze before the country completely switched to cheaper aluminum alloys for this denomination. The coin was minted at the Royal Mint on behalf of the Bhutanese government. In BU (Brilliant Uncirculated) condition, this example has an excellent collector's appearance with its native stamp luster and would be a perfect addition to thematic collections of "Flora/Fauna" or "Buddhism".
