The 10 hryvnia 2020 commemorative silver coin "Vydubychi St. Michael's Monastery" reflects on its mirrored background the iconic buildings of the architectural complex of the Vydubychi St. Michael's Monastery, founded by Prince Yaroslav's son Vsevolod on the southern outskirts of Kyiv - in the Vydubychi tract.
The monastery, which is a prominent spiritual and historical structure, took an active part in the political life of Kyivan Rus, serving as a gathering place for princes and troops before military campaigns, a burial place for nobles, as well as an important spiritual and government center that influenced political processes.
The modern ensemble of the Vydubychi Monastery is recognized as a historical monument of national importance and is one of the most striking examples of Ukrainian Baroque architecture of the late 17th - early 18th centuries.
